Basic Steps

  3. Season the Beef: Prepare seasoning mix with salt, pepper, garlic, and oregano; coat filet with oil and rub in seasoning.
  4. Sear the Beef: Heat skillet over high heat and sear filet for 1.5 minutes on each side and ends until cooked to 130°F.
  5. Rest the Beef: Transfer beef to plate, tent with foil, and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  6. Prepare the Baguette: Preheat broiler, arrange slices on baking sheet, drizzle with oil, sprinkle with salt, and broil until golden brown.
  7. Assemble Crostini: Spread horseradish sauce on baguette slices, top with sliced filet, sprinkle blue cheese, and garnish with parsley.
