Method

Step-by-step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, and 1 tablespoon of baking powder. Whisk these dry ingredients together until well blended.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat together 1 large egg, 1 cup of milk, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1/2 cup of pumpkin puree. Gradually fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  3. Place a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat, lightly greasing the surface. Allow it to preheat for about 5 minutes.
  4. Pour about 1/4 cup of the pancake batter onto the hot griddle for each pancake. Cook for 2-3 minutes until bubbles form, then flip and cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. As the pancakes cook, add chocolate chips or use whipped cream to create spooky designs.
  6. Once cooked, stack your pancakes high, drizzle with maple syrup, add whipped cream, and top with sprinkles and raspberry sauce.
  7. Gather everyone around the table to enjoy your Halloween pancakes while getting creative with toppings.
