Method
 

Steps
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, granulated sugar, apple cider vinegar, and black pepper. Set aside for 5 minutes.
  2. Wash and dry the broccoli thoroughly, cutting them into bite-sized pieces. Blanching in boiling water is optional.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the bacon for 15-17 minutes until crispy. Chop into small pieces.
  4. Combine the broccoli, bacon, red onion, cranberries, and almonds in a large mixing bowl and gently toss.
  5. Drizzle the dressing over the combined ingredients and toss until evenly coated.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for 1-2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
