For the Cream Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Butter For sautéing
  • 1 small Onion Finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun Seasoning Adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice

Preparation Steps
  1. Pat dry scallops with paper towels. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear scallops for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and opaque.
  3. In the same skillet, add butter. Once melted, sauté onion and garlic until translucent.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and stir in Cajun seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Return scallops to the sauce and warm through for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Drizzle lemon juice over scallops and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
