Step-by-Step Instructions for BLT Salad
  1. Begin by washing and chopping the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces, then place them in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Next, slice the grape tomatoes in half and add them to the bowl.
  3. Chop the thick-cut cooked bacon into small pieces and toss it into the bowl.
  4. Add the cubed sharp cheddar cheese to the bowl.
  5. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk until smooth.
