  • 1 large Orange Juiced and zested
  • 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup Can substitute with honey
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
Fruit Salad Ingredients
  • 16 ounces Red Seedless Grapes Washed and patted dry
  • 12 ounces Blackberries Or blueberries; washed
  • 1 cup Chopped Pecans Can substitute with walnuts or sunflower seeds
  • 2 large Sweet Apples Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Gala recommended

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Zest and juice the orange into a large mixing bowl. Add maple syrup and cinnamon, whisk until smooth.
  2. Add grapes and blackberries to the dressing. Dice apples and add last. Toss to coat.
  3. Toast pecans in a skillet over medium heat until golden and fragrant, then cool before adding to salad.
  4. Fold toasted pecans into the salad before serving or store covered in refrigerator.
