Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your baking sheet or loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, dry mustard, and Tabasco sauce for the glaze. Set aside.
  3. Soak torn bread pieces in milk for 2-3 minutes and mash for better incorporation.
  4. Combine soaked bread, ground beef, beaten eggs, Parmesan cheese, and parsley in a bowl. Season and mix gently.
  5. Shape the meat mixture into a loaf on a baking sheet or in a loaf pan.
  6. Lay bacon slices over the meatloaf and brush a third of the glaze on top.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes, checking the internal temperature; brush with another third of the glaze.
  8. Bake an additional 15 minutes, then rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
  9. Serve with remaining glaze and enjoy with mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.
