Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla, mixing until smooth. Add baking soda and flour and stir until a soft dough forms.
  3. Scoop cookie dough into balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, slightly flattening each with a fork.
  4. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden at the edges. Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  5. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and use to create chocolate circles on top of each cookie for spider bodies.
  6. Press pretzel sticks into the sides of the melted chocolate for legs and add candy eyes secured with more chocolate.
  7. Allow chocolate to set at room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
