  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 medium Onion or shallots
  • 1 medium Lemon sliced

  • 4 tablespoons Melted Butter or olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil extra virgin for best taste
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder or fresh minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Dry Oregano or Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika smoked paprika for extra flavor

For the Sides
  • 2 large Potatoes thinly sliced or sweet potatoes
  • 2 medium Bell Peppers any favorite variety
For Moisture
  • 1/2 cup White Wine or chicken broth

  • 1 tablespoon Dry Parsley or fresh parsley

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare your baking pan by lightly oiling it.
  2. Rinse the branzino under cold water and pat dry. Make diagonal slits on both sides of the fish.
  3. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, olive oil, garlic powder, dried oregano, paprika, sea salt, pepper, and fresh lemon juice.
  4. Apply the seasoning mix generously to the branzino on both sides and inside the cavity.
  5. Stuff the cavity of the fish with minced garlic, onion slices, and lemon slices.
  6. Slice the potatoes and bell peppers uniformly. Arrange them around the branzino in the baking pan.
  7. Pour white wine or chicken broth over the vegetables and fish in the baking pan.
  8. Dust the pan with extra paprika, more salt, and sprinkle parsley for flavor and visual appeal.
  9. Bake for about 30 minutes until the fish flakes easily and the vegetables are tender.
  10. After baking, drizzle with freshly squeezed lemon juice and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
