Cooking Instructions
  1. Prep the steak by taking it out of the fridge 30 minutes prior to cooking. Pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Generously season both sides of the steak with sea salt and add black pepper.
  3. Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat, adding avocado oil. Wait until the oil shimmers, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Carefully place the seasoned steak in the skillet and let it sear undisturbed for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Flip the steak after 3-4 minutes and cook for an additional 3 minutes. Baste with garlic and butter mixture.
  6. Remove the steak from skillet and let it rest for at least 5 minutes.
  7. Slice against the grain, drizzling with remaining garlic butter, and serve.
