Cooking Instructions
- Prep the steak by taking it out of the fridge 30 minutes prior to cooking. Pat dry with paper towels.
- Generously season both sides of the steak with sea salt and add black pepper.
- Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat, adding avocado oil. Wait until the oil shimmers, about 2-3 minutes.
- Carefully place the seasoned steak in the skillet and let it sear undisturbed for 3-4 minutes.
- Flip the steak after 3-4 minutes and cook for an additional 3 minutes. Baste with garlic and butter mixture.
- Remove the steak from skillet and let it rest for at least 5 minutes.
- Slice against the grain, drizzling with remaining garlic butter, and serve.
