For the Sandwich
  • 1 ball Fresh Burrata Stored in water for maximum freshness

  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter For a golden-brown crust
  • 1/4 cup Spinach Pesto Can be made ahead and stored for up to 5 days

Equipment

  • non-stick skillet

Method

Cooking Instructions
  1. Begin by heating a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter to the pan and allow it to melt evenly, swirling the pan gently to coat the surface.
  2. Once the butter is melted, place a slice of your selected sourdough or country-style bread in the pan. Spread a layer of spinach pesto over the bread.
  3. Tear the fresh burrata into pieces and scatter them atop the pesto, then place another slice of bread on top.
  4. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, until the bottom slice is deep golden brown, then carefully flip and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes.
  5. Once both sides are golden and the burrata is gooey, remove the sandwich from the skillet, slice in half, and serve immediately.
