- In a large bowl, sift 250 g of all-purpose flour, create a well, add yeast, sugar, and lukewarm milk. Cover and let rest for about 10 minutes until frothy.
- Add remaining soft butter, sugar, salt, egg, and vanilla. Mix until combined, knead on a floured surface for 10 minutes until smooth.
- Shape the dough into a ball and place in a greased bowl. Cover and let rise for about 1 hour until doubled.
- Gently deflate dough, divide into 6 pieces, shape into ovals, brush tops with butter and vanilla mixture, and place in greased muffin tins.
- Let shaped rolls rise for 20-30 minutes until puffy, then preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Bake rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Brush with melted butter immediately after baking.
- Dust with powdered sugar and let cool before transferring to a wire rack.
