Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare Bain-Marie: Fill a small pot with about 1/2 cup of water and bring it to a gentle boil.
  2. Melt Ingredients: Add 85 grams of unsalted butter and 6 cups of regular marshmallows into the bowl. Stir continuously for about 2 to 4 minutes until melted.
  3. Add Color and Salt: Remove the bowl from heat, sprinkle in 1/2 teaspoon of salt and add a few drops of red food coloring.
  4. Combine with Rice Bubbles: In a large bowl, pour 4 cups of Rice Bubbles, then quickly pour the warm marshmallow mixture over them.
  5. Shape Treats: Lightly oil your hands, grab a handful of the mixture, and form it into an oval shape resembling a brain.
  6. Decorate: Dip a toothpick in red food coloring and create vein-like designs on the surface of each brain.
  7. Store: Let treats cool at room temperature for about 10 minutes, then transfer to an airtight container.
