Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the cream mixture by whisking together mascarpone cheese, limoncello, lemon curd, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth and creamy.
  2. Whip the heavy cream and sugar in a separate bowl until stiff peaks form, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Gently fold one quarter of the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture, then gradually fold in the remaining whipped cream.
  4. Make the soaking syrup by combining sugar, lemon juice, limoncello, and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  5. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled syrup, then lay them in a single layer at the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the layer of soaked ladyfingers.
  7. Repeat the process with another set of ladyfingers and spread the remaining mascarpone mixture on top.
  8. Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
