Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a food processor, blend flour, butter, and brown sugar for 2-3 minutes until it resembles wet sand.
  3. Press the dough into an 8x8 inch square on the parchment or scoop into balls, flatten in granulated sugar.
  4. Cut the shapes using a knife or pizza cutter for even baking.
  5. Chill the cut shapes in the fridge for about 15 minutes.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  7. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
