Ingredients

For the Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Adds flavor and helps sauté aromatics; butter can be a richer alternative.
  • 1 medium Onion Provides sweetness and depth; shallots work well for a milder taste.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Enhances overall flavor; use fresh garlic for the best aroma.
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano Adds a herbal note; fresh oregano can also be used in lesser amounts.
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil Complements other herbs; swap for fresh basil for a vibrant taste.
  • 1 pinch Red Pepper Flakes Provides heat; adjust to preference for a personalized kick.
  • 1 cup White Wine Aids in deglazing and adds acidity; broth is a good non-alcoholic substitute.
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Creates a rich, creamy base; consider half-and-half for a lighter option.
For the Seafood Filling
  • 1 cup Lobster Meat Adds sweetness and texture; crab meat can be substituted for a different flavor.
  • 1 cup Shrimp Provides additional seafood richness; try scallops for variation.
For Layering
  • 9 sheets Lasagna Noodles Forms the structure; no-boil noodles save prep time.
  • 1 cup Ricotta Cheese Adds creaminess; cottage cheese can be a lighter alternative.
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese Brings meltiness; low-moisture mozzarella is recommended for best results.
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese Adds nuttiness and depth; consider Pecorino as an alternative.
For Garnishing
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley Provides brightness as a garnish; chives can be a flavorful substitute.
  • Salt Essential for enhancing flavors; adjust according to taste.
  • Black Pepper Adds warmth; freshly ground pepper enhances flavor.
