  • 2 Ripe Hass Avocados Choose avocados that are dark green and slightly soft.
  • 1 small Red Onion Finely chopped.
  • 1 Jalapeño or Serrano Pepper Adjusted for heat preference.
  • 0.25 cup Cilantro Finely chopped, optional.
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Lime Juice Always use freshly squeezed.
  • 1 medium Roma Tomato Optional; remove seeds.

Instructions
  1. Combine finely chopped red onions, minced jalapeños, half of the chopped cilantro, and a pinch of sea salt in a medium bowl.
  2. Gently mash the aromatic mixture with a fork or potato masher until well combined.
  3. Scoop the flesh of the ripe Hass avocados into the bowl and mash to your desired texture.
  4. Stir in the remaining cilantro and freshly squeezed lime juice, mixing until everything is evenly coated.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed before serving.
