Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the sirloin steak with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, add steak, and sear for 2-3 minutes. Transfer to a plate to rest.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter, add minced garlic, and sauté for 30 seconds. Stir in flour, cook for 1 minute, then whisk in milk and beef broth until smooth. Continue stirring until thickened.
