Step-By-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Crockpot by spraying the inside with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Layer half of the frozen pierogi at the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Add half of the sliced kielbasa and half of the chopped onion over the pierogi.
  4. Mix the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and melted butter in a bowl.
  5. Spread half of this creamy sauce over the layered ingredients in the crockpot.
  6. Add the remaining frozen pierogi on top of the sauce, followed by the rest of the kielbasa and onion.
  7. Spread the remaining creamy sauce over the top of the last layer.
  8. Cover and cook on low heat for about 4 to 5 hours.
  9. During the last 30 minutes, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  10. Serve warm, garnished with freshly chopped chives.
