  2. Make Spiced Sugar: Whisk together granulated sugar, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, ground allspice, ground nutmeg, and ground cloves. Set aside.
  3. Prepare Gingerbread Cookie Dough: In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add egg yolks, molasses, and vanilla; mix until incorporated.
