Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a pot, bring water to a rolling boil and cook the instant ramen noodles according to package instructions, usually about 3-4 minutes. Once tender, drain the noodles thoroughly in a colander and set aside.
  2. Heat a nonstick pan over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Once melted, toss in 2-3 minced garlic cloves and 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of brown sugar. Allow the sauce to simmer gently for 20-30 seconds, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add the drained ramen noodles into the pan and toss for about a minute, ensuring each strand is coated evenly.
  5. Push the noodles to one side of the pan, crack one egg into the empty side and scramble gently with a spatula for 1-2 minutes until set. Mix into the noodles.
  6. Remove from heat and sprinkle Everything Bagel seasoning on top. Serve immediately in a cozy bowl.
