Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large saucepan over low heat, melt 3 tablespoons of butter until bubbly. Once melted, add 4 cups of mini marshmallows, stirring continuously until the mixture is completely smooth and fluffy—about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Quickly add 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal to the melted marshmallow mixture. Gently fold the cereal into the mixture using a spatula for about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool slightly for about 2-3 minutes, then use your hands to mold the mixture into egg shapes. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to set for at least 10-15 minutes.
  4. Drizzle colorful pastel icing over the cooled treats and immediately sprinkle colorful decorations to cover them.
  5. Arrange the treats on a decorative plate and consider surrounding them with additional sprinkles or chocolate eggs.
