  • 1 tablespoon butter or olive oil for dairy-free
  • 1/2 cup orange juice fresh-squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons honey maple syrup can be used as an alternative
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce use low-sodium or tamari for gluten-free
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch optional for thickening the glaze
For the Salmon
  • 1 pound salmon fillets wild-caught Pacific salmon preferred
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add butter or olive oil, allowing it to melt and coat the pan.
  2. Season salmon fillets generously with salt and pepper. Place fillets skin-side up in the skillet and sear for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Reduce heat and cook the salmon for an additional 3-4 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  4. In the same skillet, combine orange juice, honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Cook for 30-60 seconds, stirring until slightly thickened.
  5. Return salmon to the skillet with the orange glaze and spoon the sauce over the top. Optionally, add fresh orange slices.
  6. Serve warm, drizzled with glaze and garnished with orange slices or parsley.
