Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 1 pound ground beef can substitute with shredded chicken
  • 1 cup chunky salsa substitute with diced tomatoes if desired
Assembly
  • 1 cup red enchilada sauce try green enchilada sauce for a twist
  • 8 pieces tortillas flour or corn
  • 2 cups Borden® Cheese Thick Cut Shredded Four Cheese Mexican or other thick-cut cheese brands

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for about 7-10 minutes.
  3. Stir in the chunky salsa with the browned beef and mix well.
  4. Spread a thin layer of red enchilada sauce across the bottom of your baking dish.
  5. Place a spoonful of beef-salsa mixture into each tortilla, roll them, and lay seam-side down in the dish.
  6. Pour remaining enchilada sauce over the rolled tortillas and sprinkle cheese on top.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and browned.
