Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup sour cream, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, and 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar until smooth and well combined.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 cups of cooked rotini (or penne) pasta, 1 cup of cooked and cubed chicken breast, 1/2 cup of crumbled bacon, 1 cup of halved cherry tomatoes, 1/2 cup of thinly sliced red onion, 1 cup of chopped romaine lettuce, and 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Gently toss everything together.
  3. Pour the prepared dressing over the salad mixture and gently fold the dressing into the salad until all ingredients are evenly coated.
  4. Just before serving, fold in 1/2 cup of cubed toasted bread or croutons.
