Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Drain the firm tofu and crumble it into small pieces in a bowl.
  2. Heat a tablespoon of oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat, then add crumbled tofu.
  3. Sprinkle in nutritional yeast, ground turmeric, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Cook the tofu mixture for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally until edges are golden.
  5. If adding vegetables, toss in chopped bell peppers or spinach halfway through cooking.
  6. Transfer the scramble to a serving plate and serve warm.
