Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by slicing the ciabatta loaf in half horizontally. Lay both halves cut-side up on a baking sheet and preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the butter with the pesto until well combined. Spread this pesto butter onto the cut sides of the ciabatta and place the bread under the broiler for about 2-3 minutes until golden and crispy.
  3. Layer the cooked ham and spicy salami, then add slices of fresh tomato and sprinkle a pinch of kosher salt.
  4. Lay slices of Monterey Jack cheese over your ingredients and return the sandwich to the oven for about 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Sprinkle freshly cracked black pepper over the melted cheese, top with coleslaw, and place the other ciabatta half on top.
  6. Slice the sandwich in half and serve warm. Enjoy with sweet potato fries or a salad for a complete meal.
