  • 1 bag Frozen Tater Tots Creates a crispy topping that contrasts wonderfully with the creamy layers.

Equipment

  • Large skillet

Method

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat the Oven to 350°F (175°C). This ensures your Cowboy Casserole cooks evenly.
  2. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat for about 5 to 7 minutes or until browned, then drain excess fat.
  3. In the same skillet, stir in the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy, about 2 minutes.
  4. Layer the beef mixture at the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, followed by the corn and shredded cheese.
  5. Arrange frozen tater tots evenly on top of the cheese layer.
  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
