Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather your ingredients.
  2. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté for 3–5 minutes until translucent.
  3. Add ground beef, break it apart, and cook for 5–7 minutes until browned. Mix in taco seasoning and tomato sauce, then simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Warm the taco shells in the oven or microwave to make them malleable.
  5. Fill each taco shell with the meat mixture and top with shredded cheese.
  6. Arrange the filled shells in a greased baking dish and bake for 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and shells are crispy.
  7. Remove from oven, cool slightly, and add fresh toppings before serving.
  8. Serve with salsa or guacamole as desired.
