Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Press the tofu blocks for about 15-20 minutes to remove excess moisture.
- Cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes.
- Toss the tofu cubes with cornstarch in a mixing bowl until evenly coated.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with the vegetable oil.
- Sauté the tofu for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- In a saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic over medium heat.
- Stir continuously for about 3-5 minutes until the mixture bubbles.
- Transfer the tofu to the saucepan and toss gently to coat.
- Spread the glazed tofu on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for an additional 8-10 minutes until caramelized.
- Garnish with green onions and serve.
