  • 2 tablespoons Lime juice Use juice from 1 lime
  • 2 pieces Brioche buns Soft buns that hold the filling well
  • 1 piece Avocado Sliced; ensure it's ripe
  • 2 pieces Tomatoes Sliced; any variety
  • 1 piece Red onion Sliced; optional to soak

Method
 

Preparation Instructions
  1. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat until it shimmers.
  2. Dust the halloumi blocks generously with plain flour.
  3. Fry the halloumi for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Mix sweet chili sauce and lime juice in a bowl until combined.
  5. Toast the brioche buns in the same pan for added flavor.
  6. Assemble the burger by layering halloumi, avocado, tomato, red onion, and sweet chili mayo.
  7. Sprinkle cress on top before placing the bun lid and serve immediately.
