- Chop boneless skinless chicken thighs into 1-inch pieces and toss them with cornstarch until coated.
- In a separate bowl, mix sesame oil, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, chicken broth, water, chili garlic sauce, and minced garlic until smooth.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat until about 1 inch deep.
- Carefully add coated chicken to hot oil and fry for approximately 8 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown.
