Preparation
- In a high-powered blender, combine the protein shake or milk, Greek yogurt, pistachios, Medjool date, pistachio Jell-O powder, almond extract, and salt. Blend on high for about 1-2 minutes until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Pour the mixture into the Ninja Creami pint and seal the lid tightly. Freeze for at least 24 hours.
- After freezing, let the pint sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes. Place the pint in the Ninja Creami and select the 'Lite Ice Cream' setting. Process for 2-3 minutes.
- Scrape down the sides and create a well in the center. Add desired mix-ins and drizzle a tablespoon of milk on top.
- Return the pint to the Ninja Creami and select the 'Mix-In' setting. Process for another 1-2 minutes.
- Serve immediately for a soft texture or seal and freeze for later.
