Quesadilla Preparation Steps
- Prepare the Tortilla: Lay one flour tortilla on a flat surface. Evenly sprinkle half of the grated cheddar cheese across it.
- Mash the Avocado: Using a fork, mash the avocado to your desired smoothness and spread it evenly over the cheese.
- Add More Cheese and Top: Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese over the mashed avocado. Place a second tortilla on top.
- Heat the Pan: Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat for about 2 minutes. Optionally, lightly spray with oil.
- Cook the Quesadilla: Transfer the quesadilla into the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Slice and Serve: Remove from pan, let sit for a minute, then slice into wedges and serve with salsa, guacamole, or salad.
