  • 1 cup chicken stock vegetable broth can be used
  • 1 tbsp thyme fresh

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Soak dried beans overnight or rinse and drain canned beans; set aside.
  2. In a Dutch oven, heat oil and brown sausages and chicken (or duck) for 8-10 minutes.
  3. Sauté onions and garlic until translucent and fragrant, about 5 minutes.
  4. Return cooked meats to pot, add beans, chicken stock, tomato paste, thyme, and bay leaves, simmer gently.
  5. Cover and simmer for approximately 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  6. Transfer to a baking dish, top with breadcrumbs, and bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes.
  7. Let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving, enhancing flavors.
