Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, grated apple, breadcrumbs, egg, diced onion, dried sage, salt, and pepper.
- Scoop mixture into muffin tin, filling two-thirds full.
- In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard and maple syrup for the glaze.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature is 165°F.
- Brush reserved glaze on muffins 15 minutes into baking.
- Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
