  • 1 teaspoon Dried Sage Earthy flavor, use fresh for more brightness.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
For the Glaze
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard Adds depth to the glaze.
  • 3 tablespoons Maple Syrup Creates a beautiful glaze.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, grated apple, breadcrumbs, egg, diced onion, dried sage, salt, and pepper.
  3. Scoop mixture into muffin tin, filling two-thirds full.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard and maple syrup for the glaze.
  5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature is 165°F.
  6. Brush reserved glaze on muffins 15 minutes into baking.
  7. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
