Preparation Steps

  2. Midway through cooking, add the sweetened condensed milk to the saucepan and stir until combined. Continue simmering for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the pure maple syrup, vanilla extract, and apple pie spice. Let it simmer for another 1-2 minutes.
  4. While the porridge simmers, heat a skillet over medium-high heat and melt the unsalted butter. Add in brown sugar and apple pie spice, stirring until the mixture bubbles.
  5. Add the sliced organic apples to the skillet, tossing them in the caramel mixture and cook for about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Spoon the warm Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Porridge into bowls and top with the sautéed apples and optional toppings.
