  • 1 set Food Coloring (Pastel) Use gel food coloring for vibrant colors.
For the Filling
  • 1 pack Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix Alternatives include white chocolate or cheesecake pudding.
  • 2 cups Cold Milk
For the Topping
  • 1 container Cool Whip or Whipped Cream Can use homemade whipped cream.
  • 1 cup Easter Sprinkles or Colored Sugar For decoration.
Optional Festive Additions
  • 1 cup Mini Chocolate Eggs
  • 1 pack Marshmallow Peeps

Method
 

Preparation and Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, prepare the cake batter as per the instructions on the cake mix package.
  3. Divide the cake batter into four bowls and tint each with different pastel colors using gel food coloring.
  4. Spoon the colored batters randomly into the greased pan and swirl using a toothpick.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, then cool for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Poke holes in the cooled cake about 1 inch apart.
  7. Whisk together pudding mix and cold milk until thick, then pour over the cake.
  8. Chill the cake for 30-60 minutes.
  9. Spread Cool Whip over the cooled cake and top with sprinkles and optional festive additions.
