Step-by-Step Instructions for Cinnamon Twists
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Unfold thawed puff pastry on a floured surface, smoothing out creases.
  4. Roll out the pastry into a rectangle about 1/8 inch thick.
  5. Brush the pastry with melted butter.
  6. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the brushed pastry.
  7. Cut the pastry into 12 strips, each about 1 inch wide.
  8. Twist each strip 4-5 times and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Brush the tops of the twists with remaining melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Cool on a wire rack for a few minutes before serving.
