Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
  2. Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and half of the ketchup in a large bowl.
  3. Transfer the meat mixture into the baking dish and press down evenly. Spread the remaining ketchup on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  4. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Spread the prepared mashed potatoes over the meatloaf.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon over the mashed potatoes.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
