Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown approximately 1 pound of ground beef for 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef with cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, and rice. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish, then transfer the beef and rice mixture into the dish.
- Sprinkle 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 35-40 minutes, removing the foil for the last 10 minutes.
- Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Serve with a side salad or crusty bread.
