- Begin by peeling the butternut squash, then slice it in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds using a spoon. Cube the squash into 1-inch pieces.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, brown sugar, salt, black pepper, and cinnamon until glossy and well combined.
- Add the cubed butternut squash to the bowl with the glaze, and gently toss until evenly coated.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Spread the glazed squash in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
