Ingredients

For the Bliss Balls
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries Delivers a burst of flavor and vibrant color
  • 1 cup rolled oats Finely processed for a smoother texture
  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut Adds tropical sweetness and texture
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil Acts as a binding agent
  • 2 tablespoons water Just a splash to ensure smooth blending
  • 1/4 cup extra desiccated coconut For rolling the bliss balls

Equipment

  • Food Processor

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by placing the rolled oats in a food processor. Pulse them until they reach a flour-like consistency, which should take about 30 seconds.
  2. Next, add the frozen blueberries, desiccated coconut, coconut oil, and a splash of water to the food processor. Blend everything together at medium speed for 1-2 minutes until the mixture is well combined and sticky.
  3. With clean, damp hands, scoop out portions of the mixture and roll them into small balls, about the size of a tablespoon. This should yield approximately 12-15 bliss balls. Roll each ball in extra desiccated coconut for a delightful finish.
  4. For those using a Thermomix, chop the rolled oats on speed 5 for about 10 seconds until fine. Then add the other ingredients and mix on speed 4 for 30 seconds.
  5. Finally, place the Blueberry Bliss Balls in an airtight container. They can be refrigerated for up to 5 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
