  • 2 tbsp Chives Can substitute with green onions.
  • 1 count Egg Omit for egg-free version.
For the Assembly
  • 2 cups Marinara Sauce Store-bought or homemade.
Optional Toppings
  • 1 cup Extra Mozzarella for Topping Sprinkle before baking.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil or Parsley For garnish.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and boil salted water. Cook jumbo pasta shells for 9-11 minutes until al dente.
  2. Drain the shells and put them in ice water to stop the cooking process. Dry them on a kitchen towel.
  3. In a food processor, mix ricotta, spinach, mozzarella, parmesan, minced garlic, chives, and egg until smooth.
  4. Fill each shell with the ricotta-spinach mixture and place them in a baking dish.
  5. Add marinara sauce to the bottom of the dish, then top the stuffed shells with more sauce and mozzarella.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden. Let cool before serving.
