  • 1 cup pineapple juice fresh preferred
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice freshly squeezed
For Sweetness
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup optional, adjust to taste
For Flavor
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon or nutmeg

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash the Granny Smith apples thoroughly and core them. Slice into small chunks, leaving the peel on.
  2. Blend the apple chunks on high speed until completely smooth, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  3. In a large mixing container, combine pineapple juice, coconut water, and lime juice. Stir in honey or agave syrup to taste.
  4. Gently fold the apple puree into the juice mixture until thoroughly combined.
  5. Fill a large pitcher halfway with ice cubes and pour the apple and juice mixture over the ice.
  6. Pour into chilled glasses and garnish with mint leaves and apple slices.
