Ingredients

For the Dough
  • 1 cup Self-Raising Flour If unavailable, make your own by mixing 1 ½ tsp baking powder and ¼ tsp salt into 1 cup of all-purpose flour.
  • 5 oz Sweetened Greek Yogurt Can be replaced with regular yogurt, although the texture and flavor might vary.
For the Coating
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar Feel free to use brown sugar for a richer taste.
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon Totally optional, but highly recommended for that beloved donut flavor!
  • 2 tbsp Melted Chocolate Choose dark, milk, or white chocolate based on your preference.

Equipment

  • Air fryer

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of self-raising flour with 5 oz of sweetened Greek yogurt. Mix until a uniform soft dough forms, then knead gently for about 1 minute.
  2. Divide the dough into small pieces, aiming for approximately 8-12g each. Roll each piece into a smooth ball and set aside.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (180°C) for about 5 minutes and lightly brush the air fryer basket with oil.
  4. Toss each rolled dough ball in melted butter, then arrange in the air fryer basket. Cook for 5 minutes or until puffed up and golden brown.
  5. Remove the bites and toss them in melted butter while still warm, then roll in a cinnamon-sugar mixture for the coating.
